LAW OF ATTRACTION
I allocated some time to review the expression: "law of attraction", and ultimately it led me back to Einsteins general theory of relativity, which describes how Mass attract one another due to gravitational force. “Mass and Energy are interchangeable”; they are two forms of the same thing! So, what does all that mean? It means that energy-in-motion stays in motion…. And how is this relevant to what we practice IN MINDFULNESS AND MEDITATION you may ask? Thoughts (being a phenomena) are energy. Therefore THOUGHT in-motion (repetitive thinking) stays in motion until such time as it has bonded with the actual Mass (the corresponding phenomena) which it is related with. In other words, if I “think” I will be successful at (some particular thing) the THOUGHT will continue to stay in motion and drive my actions forward until the (Thing) has been found, and bonded with. Many teachers in the western culture glibly call this ‘the law of attraction’. Hey, call it what you want; it is an actual principle of physics that is true….Mass and Energy are interchangeable! WE dictate the results of our realities (or life’s results) by thought ! Mindfulness and meditation practices teach us to own the power of thought, and not be a victim to it !
