INTRODUCTION TO EMOTIONAL WELLBEING:

This one hour session draws upon tools & techniques from the published book 9756 Miles, A Journey To Happiness by Paul J Pettit.
Paul offers an overview of key practices used in mindfulness-based life coaching, reflexology, & naturopathic reiki therapy, where clients can develop a higher sense of self-esteem and regain purpose in their life.
The techniques shared are the initial stepping stones offered to guide you to a commitment toward mental health, and emotional wellbeing.

 Paul will share:
  • How the Brain / Body connection works. (The scientific facts 101)
  • Why the term 'mental health' carries an unrealistic stigma
  • An insight into the reasons some people are settling for less than what they can achieve in life.

NATUROPATHIC REIKI
$85.00 (per 45 minute session). 
Naturopathic Reiki is a combination of traditional Japanese Usui Shiki Ryoho reiki / naturopathic oils / guidance
In this 60 minute session the client experiences a reduction in stress, increase in relaxation, & promotion of healing.

REFLEXOLOGY
$85.00 (per 45 minute session). 
Meridian Reflexology realigns the natural flow of your body's energy (chi); stimulates nerve pathways; opens up circulatory & lymphatic pathways; promotes detoxification; promotes pain reduction (through releasing endorphins); enhances muscle relaxation.
In this 60 minute session the client experiences a reduction in stress, increase in muscle relaxation, & promotion of pain reduction (physical & emotional).
  • Includes Foot soak
  • Includes Naturopathic Reflexology (with essential oils & crystals)


MEDITATION GUIDANCE.
$85.00 (per 60 minute class) 
* 1 to 1 class,  or pre-arranged groups of up to 10 people.

Meditation Guidance is offered as a cost-effective introduction to spiritual awakening, and the development of mindfulness.
Paul offers the same price for 1 to 1 classes, or  pre-arranged groups of up to 10 people.
 
These Meditation classes are the pinnacle entry point to gaining self-knowledge in the practices of mindfulness.

Mindfulness Meditation - Beginners / Intermediate / Advanced
  • Mindfulness Meditation is the process of bringing your intention, & attention, into focus – on demand. It guides you away from habitually being overly reactive to what’s going on in your external environment, (through recognition of your own unique internal environment). When practicing mindfulness meditation, you observe your thoughts and emotions but let them pass without judgment. Through this sitting practice, you begin to teach yourself how to do this in your daily life – when you are actively undertaking tasks / roles.
Guided Meditation - Beginners / Intermediate / Advanced
  • Guided meditation is a method in which a guru (teacher) leads you. The intention of this meditation is to form mental pictures or situations that you find relaxing. This process includes the use of smell, sound, and textures, to evoke calmness in your relaxing space.
Metta Meditation - Beginners / Intermediate / Advanced
  • Metta meditation, also called Loving Kindness Meditation, is the practice of directing well wishes toward self & others. Through recitation of specific words and phrases, you evoke warm-hearted feelings, and become connected to Oneness as a whole.
Transcendental Meditation - Beginners / Intermediate / Advanced
  • Transcendental meditation (The OHM) is a technique offering a personally assigned mantra, such as a word, sound, or small phrase, to be repeated in a specific way. It is practiced 20 minutes, twice each day, while resting comfortably with the eyes closed. This technique allows you to settle inward to a profound state of relaxation and rest, with the goal of achieving inner peace.
    Once you have been gifted a mantra, you can begin.
Chakra Meditation - Beginners / Intermediate / Advanced
  • Chakra is a Sanskrit word that translates as “wheel”, and refers to the centers of energy and spiritual power in the body. In the west we mainly concentrate on the 7 Chakras corresponding to the autonomic nervous system. (However there are 154 chakra points in total). Each of the 7-chakra points has a corresponding color, crystal, essential oil, and emotional correlation. Chakra meditation includes visually picturing each chakra in the body and its corresponding color, and creating ‘space’ within the area it resides. This space allows room for energy to enter, and enhance the emotional energy within the Chakra.
Kundalini Pranayama Meditation - Beginners / Intermediate
  • Kundalini Pranayama uses the breath to affect & manage different states of consciousness, relaxation, and wellbeing. The breath links the body & the mind, and through achieving a slower rate of breathing, while drawing energy from the lower chakra points to the higher chakra points, you draw your inner divine energy (Shakti) from the base of the root chakra up to the higher brow & crown chakra.
    Kundalini Pranayama develops the ability to engage enlightenment & inner guidance.
Vipassana Meditation (introduction) - Beginners
  • (Including the 16 steps of mindfulness breathing). 
  • This is a progressive introductory course: 1 step at a time.
    Vipassana meditation is an ancient Indian form of meditation that loosely translates as “ To see things as they really are.”
    It dates back some 2,500 years; and achieves self-transformation through self-observation. Vipassana is accomplished through disciplined attention to physical sensations in the body, establishing a deep connection between the combinations of Body/Mind. This continuous interconnectedness results in a balanced mind. Vipassana, in this tradition, is typically taught during a 10-day course, however Paul offers the ‘introduction to Vipassana’ by gradually increasing the time-periods of each sitting session.
    * Students are expected to follow a set of rules throughout the entirety of the introductory period, including the 'traditional-based' practices of abstaining from all intoxicants, telling lies, stealing, sexual activity, and killing any species.

EMOTIONAL ABUSE RECTIFICATION THERAPY (EART)
$165.00 (per 90 minute session). 
EART is a combined program of Reiki & Life Coaching, designed to serve those whose lives have been affected by emotional or physical abuse.

Each session includes 60 minutes of E.A.R.T. therapy, followed by 30 minutes of Reiki.
  • EART incorporates Usui Shiki Ryoho Reiki, the traditional Reiki Therapy developed in Japan in the early 1900's. It is a touch therapy promoting stress reduction, emotional balance, and relaxation.
  • EART draws upon therapy & psychotherapy-based tools, with life coaching programs tailored to the client's individual needs.
  • Individualized programs are designed to assist the abused and/or abuser to move forward toward stability of both personality and mood.
